It's all about who you know, and who they sleep with

I hate the America media.

Smug, arrogant, and they have a ferocious desire to create drama by calling attention to backroom deals and such. Don't they get it - this is how America works.

You've seen me write about Virginia. Let me tell you something - if Virginia scared me at first then Ohio just about knocked me out. I mean, come on! We have our corporate offices here in Mason. This year the Ohio legislature took up the question of capping payday rates. Damn these communists!

We, of course, had to act fast. We tried to get my right hand guy in the legislature, but the stupid voters obviously had another idea. Idiots. Our initial strategy was to try and get the issue stalled. That is exactly what we did.

Sometimes I like to throw money directly at legislators. That is often the most effective, gauranteed way to get results. In Ohio, however, we had to be a little more clever. If you can't throw money at the legislator, lets throw money at the legislator's spouse!

So - my good friends at Checksmart stepped up too the plate. And now this punk Aaron Marshall has the nerve to write a story in the Plain Dealer eluding to some conspiracy. Take a walk Aaron! We don't need you nosing around our business!

I LOVE Virginia!

You know, sometimes throwing huge money at politicians really pays off.

After a string of losses (those damn communists in Washington DC and New Hampshire), we were able to come through with a real VICTORY in Virginia!

At first it didn't look so good. A ton of those freaking communist consumer activists set up shop, spreading their hope and love filled propaganda to the media and the state legislators. I am not going to lie to you, I got a bit nervous.

We sent our best operatives to VA, and even I went out a few times. We wined and dined a few legislators (I won't say how far we went, but lets just say our bank account is much lighter and my marketing chica, Miriam, took a few for the team). At the end of the day the good legislators of the fine commonwealth (which means common and wealthy - and I for one love it!) decided to ACTUALLY raise the fees we can charge! This means we will be able to bankrupt more people, faster, while extracting all of their hard earned cash quicker. In a time when winning for us often means maintining the status quo, or even accepting laws that hold our profits down, its so refreshing to work with a state that doesn't care about all this bs with people losing their bank accounts, their homes and their futures. Since when was the government supposed to be in the job of protect people from predators, anyway?

GOD I love Virginia.

The truth about consumer activists

I spend alot of time thinking about these so called "consumer activists". You have to understand, these losers are a real thorn in my side. Every time I look around some group of impotent losers have gathered together, floating some legislation that restricts my business practices. Can you believe that??? What nerve. What motivates these losers?? I mean, what makes them tick?

At first I thought they were just tag alongs - folks who wanted a piece of the pie themeselves. I mean, who can balk and triple digit interest rates and huge profits? Then I see these damn credit unions - all over the country - offering payday loans at 12-18% interest. What the hell are these idiots up to? Why charge 18% when you can legally charge 300%?

Then I figured it out. Now I understand these wackos. They are communists.

Now - wait. Stop and think about it. They oppose my industry at every turn, and they stand up and speak out for the true losers in our society. Strength wins - and being able to step on the little guy (or girl - hey, I don't discriminate) is the key to getting ahead. These wackos don't see it that way. So they are communists (or at least communist sympathisers). And hey, you don't want to be either one, do you? So - call your legislator, and tell them to protect my right to rape and pillage the poor...er, i mean tell them to protect "financial choice".

I am so excited to unveil my new blog!

Raping and pillaging the finances of the poor, blacks, latinos, and seniors (to name a few) is hard work - and sometimes it's all I can do to count my money and spit on the carcasses of my victims after a hard days work. My therapist tells me that I should start putting my wisdom into words for the public to consume, so I figured I'd start blogging!

For those of you that do not know me, I'm Dave. Dave Davis. I am the President of Check 'n Go. We are the second largest payday lender in the world! We entrap more people in our debt cycle than most of our competitors combined! With triple digit interest rates and and the lure of fast cash, people can't resist us! We especially love working with blacks and hispanics. As I always like to say, there is nothing better than an underbanked community! Give them a few dollars, charge 'em a few hundred, and those pathetic souls will keep coming back. Each time we destroy a family, each time we cause someone to be evicted, each time an old person chooses to pay my interest instead of needed medicine - it's like I get stronger!! Every day (especially Fridays) I feel my power getting stronger!
